Open since Aug. 11, 2008, Blythe Dim's combo coffee counter and sweet shop is so very Philly. That means everything, she says, is made in-house, crafted off-site locally or sourced from Philly purveyors: La Colombe coffee and espresso, Bassett's ice cream, baked goods, cookies, cheesecakes, caramel-dipped apples, chocolate-covered popcorn and more. We can't stop thinking about Cream and Sugar's fresh-made bagel schmears, which include strawberry and honey walnut cream cheeses and "banana split" butter, with bananas and maraschino cherries. They're open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
